We booked the Capri mini cruise tour. It was really great. We were picked up at our hotel in Sorrent, the bus was good, the ferry nice and the guide was amazing. Everything was explained in italian & english and the guide was very friendly. The price was very good compared to other agencies. We would definitely book again.

We booked the Capri small group tour and it was a terrible experience. To start they picked us up at the meeting point one hour late. The boat was fine but those who sat at very back had to endure the noise of a very loud exhaust and its fumes. The captain was not so welcoming and hardly spoke any English. To top it all off we never stopped for a swim as the captain never bothered to stop.

We had Vincenzo for our Pompeii and Herculean tour. The trip was well organised bar the spot they picked me up from was a bit far from my hotel. The bus was comfy and the lunch they provided was okay. With any tours the experience comes down to the guide, Vincenzo was excellent, had good English and his knowledge of the volcano and the area was excellent, so much that we really didn't have many questions.

They sub-out tours and don’t give you accurate info. Booked a tour to Positano and Amalfi based on the fact that they said you get 5 hours in Amalfi so you have a chance to see Ravelo as well. Turns out, it is only 2 hours in Amalfi. Next, the tickets said the boat departed from Amalfi at 2, but the boat left at 1:50, leaving without us. We ended up taking a ferry to Positano and called multiple times to find out what time to meet the boat. No one ever answered and we ended up missing it again. If you are thinking of taking on of these non-guided tours, just take the ferries. It is cheaper, way more flexible, and the information they give you will be accurate, unlike this place.

Do not use this agency for ground transportation! Prior to leaving Canada (Sept 2022) we had made arrangements via our travel agent to have Acampora transport our family from the Florence airport to the hotel, Florence to Rome, Rome to Positano and finally from Positano back to the Naples airport. It started with a no show at the Florence airport, our flight was slightly delayed and the driver left, no one reached out to us. After calling the office he showed up an hour later. For the Rome to Positano leg the driver said he went to the wrong hotel, again no contact until we called their office (they had all of our contact information…) and we were an hour late leaving. The final leg was the worst. After all the issues we moved the pick up time ahead an hour just to be safe. Once again the driver doesn’t show up and there is no contact to let us know what’s happening. When we finally reach Acampora they advise there has been an accident preventing the driver from reaching us and they will not be coming that day, even though we have a flight home in 4 hours. Our fabulous VRBO property manager was able to secure another driver and we made our flight. Acampora almost ruined a wonderful family trip. There are lots of excellent limo companies out there so avoid this one!

We were in Sorrento for 7 days and used Acampora travel for the entire time. We dealt with a wonderful young lady by the name of Elena and had the most AMAZING driver by the name of Raffaele (Lello) Moriale. If you have planned your trip and transportation with Acampora travel, you've hit the jack pot! These people are good, honest, reliable and trustworthy. When we return next year, we will definitely deal with these folks again. You can't go wrong, trust me.
