Our cruise stopped 2 times in Naples, we organised 2 day trips; 1 to Pompeii and Herculaneum and the 2nd for a day travelling the salmagundi coast. We the same amazing driver ( Alberto the Handsome) both days. Sarah made some suggestions both about the trips and guided tours all off which proved the best great value and throughly enjoyable. You won’t go wrong booking through these guys.

Sarah was amazing from beginning to end, even when at the last minute our shipped docked at Naples instead of Sorrento. She customized a tour for us off the beaten track and it was a brilliant day. Luigi our driver was so informative, funny and extremely interesting, a very proud Italian Man. Highly recommend AP Tours.

We were thrilled to find Sarah/AP Tours. She was very responsive through both email and WhatsApp, booked 2 private tours from 2 cruise ports for us. I had contacted a few other companies and no one was willing to do 3 stops in the Tuscany area, except her, and we had plenty of time and no traffic issues. We spent our day in Florence with Stefano and our day in Naples with Alberto. Both drivers were prompt with pick-up and very friendly throughout the day. Both were very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about their regions and shared so much information with us. We stopped for many photos and were able to see so much more than we ever could have on a van or bus tour. Stefano drove us to Pisa, Florence, and San Gimignano, which I tried all day to learn how to pronounce with no success. So sorry, Stefano, but we loved the town! Alberto drove us to the Amalfi Coast, Positano, and Sorrento, which we also loved. We had time to walk both towns, shop and have lunch. Both drivers were very good time-keepers making sure we were back in port with plenty of time to spare. Thanks for 2 terrific days in Italy and lots of great memories!!

My family and I had the pleasure of using AP Tours during our vacation, and I must say, they exceeded all of our expectations. We utilized their transfer services on three separate occasions, and each experience was exceptional.

Overall trip was ok, lovely driver.
Tour guide at Pompeii ran late and tried to blame us when the driver got upset about timing. No time to gift shop or even go to the loo. Very rushed at the end.
Biggest disappointment was the ‘Over sell’ of the Pizza making experience with a professional chief for lunch with local drinks etc - not at all what we did on the day, no drinks, no chef - pressure to pay full amount regardless - felt very much like a scam.

We booked a private tour of the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. After confirming the details of our trip by email with Sara, we met our driver Giovanni promptly at the cruise terminal in Salerno. Giovanni expertly piloted us on impossibly narrow roads to Amalfi and then Ravello. After an hour or so at each town, he drove us to Pompeii for a delicious pizza lunch. We then met Pina, our private guide, and spent about two hours exploring Pompeii with her. Afterward, Giovanni returned us to the cruise terminal in Salerno. Overall, a great day. Thank you Sara, Giovanni, and Pina for a wonderful day exploring the Amalfi region!

Would highly recommend if you are doing a Cruise. Best bang for buck. Sarah was very accommodating and easy to reach pre-booking as well as while were there. Drivers were very professional and accommodating. Sarah set up a group chat on WhatsApp to ensure that we had the contact info for the Drivers. All of the drivers were good but our drivers for Rome and Florence/Pisa were GREAT!! They were drivers as well as tour guides. The pick-up from the port as well as getting us back was smooth and seamless., all three days. They were very time conscious without making us feel rush. Literally a third of the price as the same excursions on the ship( we literally saw the groups from the ship almost everywhere we went) plus its just your group, can't beat that. I could go on and on but I won't, lol.
