It's not a hospital I would ever recommend you bring yourself nor children or I'll family members if you want to actually be cared for. They are insulting, disrespectful and none caring doctors and nurses. They take your health for a joke and call you a liar. Make fun of illness people have to endure. They intentionally insure you get no sleep and they won't feed you proper meals. It takes forever you a nurse to even respond to you when called upon. And me being 9 weeks pregnant I've been declined so many simple needs. Very dehumanizing people who feel they are better then everyone and the only reason they got one star is because the option of zero was unavailable. I am currently a patient her and have been told so many lies. Keep requesting a discharge but because I have insurance now they are milking me in every which way. Over dosing me on medication and again I am 9 weeks pregnant. Was grope by a male doctor and my baked body put in display for so many to see as I was not well. Also as a female nurse tried to cover me back up he kept ripping my gown back off. I have been treated like a joke and provoked in so many occasions and never feel safe here.... There's so many more things I could add but if you come here you'll find out on your own, but one more thing to add us when you make your complaints to the people you're supposed to they put you in a step down room with absolutely nothing. Honestly don't know which was worse the RCU or the 5 North Tower also known as the step down floor or what I like to call a mini jail sell just with a tv. And you will be deprived of showers

To begin with if I could not give them a star I would. Before I started writing I went through the comments even though I got my horrible experience at this horrible place because I refused to it by it’s name I realized some of your got it worse even for pregnant women. To begin yesterday 1/13/2025 I’ve been having back pain from my back that’s keeps on moving from back to lower abdomen to my side on the 3rd day I went to an Urgent Care Center. They ran some test and prescribed me some medicine and told me to come after 3 days if I was still in pain. By Sunday my right got numb. So on Monday 1/13/2025 Instead of going back to the Urgent Care I decided to go to ER , I walked in Broward Health Center at 2:34 pm I took a pic of my phone screen to record the I checked in. I told them my symptoms and the numbness on my tight. They did tell me about a 5 hrs late, since I don’t go to ER often I don’t really the wait time in ER, I stayed. When I walked inside the Room was full at its capacity. You had homeless, infants people on wheelchairs, it’s flue season. I sat for 4 hrs to go to Triage for someone to the my vital signs ran blood tests
And sent back to my seat. I sat there until 12:25 Am with the same I found there. Some people got tired after waited in agony left to go elsewhere or home. Before I left I went to speak to one them in the front desk asking him, how long until I get call? Oh he told everyone prior not to keep on coming up to ask him questions when they will call next. So I went to him and said « I know you don’t want people to ask you when is their time » he said « and why you’re here? » and went on « I don’t have a Christal ball to know that » and he went on and on I just couldn’t believe my eyes my ears. And I saw those poor people seating
There like zombies. Before I left I told him, « this place it’s not a Hospital, it’s a daycare for sick people. I try to make it. But there was a lot more going on. Even the police officers in there were telling which other Hospital I should of went. The entire staff should get fired bring new people in or shut down this place. They don’t care for people’s lives nor safety no customer service, professionalism out the window. Whoever going to read there reviews please save someone else’s the time and drama

Very horrible experience they don't care the rooms are disgusting. You have to call multiple times to get the room cleaned, to get any attention. The doctor's don't check on the patients for more than 1-3 mins. Go anywhere else. I've even had my birth here and again same complaints! Go somewhere else.

This review is directed for Ms Betty in customer service. While waiting in the outpatient surgery area, Ms Betty came around with her cart offering coffee, tea and snacks. She is an absolute delight, caring and so personable. Broward Health, take care of this lady, she is a great representation of your hospital.

If I can give this place no stars I would. I went in around 2 in the morning with severe pain at 8 months pregnant. I didn't know what was causing my body aches and head aches and it felt like I was constantly getting hit my a train. I waited for 2 hours to hear we are waiting fr an empty room constantly. I finally got tired of waiting and I got up and asked a lady that was in training why is it taking so long t get care I'm in pain and I'm crying as I'm telling her this. She says ma'am there's nothing I can do but please press that black button and ask for help and when I did that I walked through the doors I see people just chillin and talking and gossiping having a good ole convo. I asked the lady can someone please help me I been waiting two hours in pain and she says hold on just sit here we just got a room let me clean it. Like if I never went back there I would've never got someone to see me. As I waited for room to
be cleaned, the lady said ok go
in here and wait for a nurse I get in
there and sat on the bed and waited again another 20 minutes while I hear
people gossiping and eating food while I'm moaning in pain. finally a lady comes in and says she will be my nurse she put the ivy in my hand and she did not even do it good. was very painful but I just left it alone. the ivy bag wasn't dripping right and she started to move around the ivy in my
arm as if It wasn't painful. she was taking the blood and because she didn't put the ivy needle thing in right she had to constantly move and shift it for the blood to come out and it was painful. She sat the blood tubes there. My pre bottle was sitting on the table. everything was just unorganized and messy. To make a long story short I got in the hospital I was in there for 8 hours wasting my
time, horrible care, different shift of
nurse that act like she didn't want to be at work, I felt like I was being tortured. I hated every experience there I wil not
lie about this. I can't say everyone but
majority of these people just wear the name but they have no care for the people. it's just about coming to work to
hang out and gossip and look important. this job isn't for everyone. Finally doctor rushes in and says you’re going to be discharged and you just have a regular flu. Rushing the procedure of just take over the counter Tylenol and ginger tea the good ole home remedy and said once your ivy bag is done you can go. The ivy bag was still full and never drained because the lady didn’t even it the thing in my hand right through the vein. Like really. The nurse brings my discharge papers and explains nothing and says bye. I've been to some hospitals where the care is amazing. I had to come here because I moved and I will never go back again. if you are looking for a hospital who will actually care please look elsewhere. They are also unclean and sloppy in their work from What I saw and observed.

I had a very unprofessional experience with some of the nurses in the ICU at this hospital. My loved one was admitted on August 31st and showed signs of improvement until September 9th when she passed away. I was shocked by the lack of compassion and attention from some of the nurses. They seemed to lack people skills and didn't show care for their patients. I strongly believe that hospitals should provide proper care and treatment, and I think it's important for family members to be as involved as possible in their loved one's care. The hospital needs to assess their employees to ensure they all have a genuine concern for their patients.

Last year I was at this hospital visiting my grandmother who unfortunately was dying from cancer. Even tho there was nothing the doctor or the nurses could really do I just wanted to say thank you to the doctors and the nurses who took care of her until she was sent home and put on hospice. As for this hospital it doesn't seem like a bad hospital at least when I was there the only pain might be waiting for the elevators because if I'm not mistaken the elevators were extremely busy when I was here last year oh and they have a Starbucks by the main entrance of the facility
