I returned home from Italy nearly a month ago yet find myself continually drifting back to my experiences there. A few friends and I travelled to the Emilia-Romagna region to participate in an event and found ourselves with a few free days to explore before returning home.

With limited knowledge as to the region, we turned to our host for a recommendation and were introduced to Ramona and her Team at Buonjourney Italy. Originally communicating through e-mail, Ramona crafted together an itinerary for our approval. Her attention to detail, concern for our preferences and variety of activities presented immediately convinced us to place ourselves in her capable hands.

It was perhaps the best decision of our trip! Ramona and her Team greeted us promptly that first morning and we were treated like Kings from that point forward. The guides were knowledgeable, professional and personable. Our tour traversed sprawling countryside, medieval villages and historic landmarks along the way. Interspersed throughout the days were lunches, dinners and wine and cheese tastings that left our bellies full yet yearning for more.

I cannot thank Ramona and our “friends” at Buonjourney Italy enough for helping to make our experiences in Italy so memorable.

We have traveled in Italy many times on our own but our 8-day BuonJourney tour was by far our favorite experience. Ramona and her expert team opened the doors to their Emilia-Romagna region for us to meet many amazing artisans of balsamic vinegar, EVOO, fossa cheeses and much more. The culture and the pride that goes into their work and products were palpable. Through Ramona one can enjoy the sights, taste the foods and experience the culture of this spectacular region not as tourists but as native Italians would. We can't wait to return someday. Thank you Ramona, Enrica, Guido, and Federico for making our stay so special (you too Gigi!).

I was fortunate enough to visit the Romagna region of Italy with three friends for a scheduled event in late September. We rented a house in Bellaria Igea Marina. We had a couple "free" days at the end of our visit before leaving to depart for Rome and had discussed ideas as to what we might like to do. As good fortune would have it, the owners of the property are related to Ramona, who runs Buonjourney Italy and offered to put me in contact with her. I reviewed the website and immediately took them up on the offer.

From my initial contact, through our last hours spent together, Ramona and her team provided the best experience we could have imagined!

Ramona crafted a most special, custom, two-day tour full of cultural and culinary experiences. Each day we were comfortably transported by a private driver to one memorable experience after another. We visited Renaissance villages with breathtaking castles, forts and endless views of the region. We toured an award-winning vineyard and enjoyed tasting the fruits of their labor! We enjoyed two amazing dinners, including one at the top of a mountain! We learned about aging cheese and sampled the work! And perhaps our favorite, we prepared our own pasta and piadina under the tutelage of a legendary Italian chef! All of this and much more was done alongside our incredible host Ramona and her team who provided invaluable cultural and culinary history and commentary!

The diversity of activities, the experiences and the tastes were all unforgettable! Each one of us remarked that what we accomplished in two days was amazing and the value unsurpassed from anything we imagined!

For a genuine "Italian" experience you will never forget I HIGHLY recommend Buonjourney Italy!
