I contacted this company to obtain pricing, and to schedule services to address the regular summer pests that at times present themselves . I informed the woman with whom I spoke, that I would like for the service guy or girl, to wear disposable covering over their shoes upon entering my home, to prevent the spread of germs. The woman stated that she would check with her manager and get back to me, since they usually do not wear disposable shoe coverings. I was never contacted again and when I attempted to call back, the phone was not answered. It was evident to me when speaking to this individual on the phone, that she was not pleased with my request and had no intentions of calling back. The customer has a right to request that service people do not walk through their home with dirty work shoes. A request should not need to be made for the use of disposable shoe covering when entering a client's home. This should be standard practice, unless the customer requests otherwise. The requested services was mostly preventative based, since the property is new. I decided to purchase insect spray and sprayed the parameters of my yard myself. It turned out the the fews ants that were detected in one room in the house, was as a result of a candy left in a bag from my mothers' visit. Once the candy was gone, the area sprayed and bag cleaned, there were no more ants. Professional and competent individuals are becoming more difficult to find, and when I do encounter such individuals, I make sure to give them credit.
