Amazing brunch! Ordered delivery and it was lightning fast for a Saturday morning. Had the egg and hash brown wrap and the blue corn pancakes. Both were really good, and you definitely get your moneys worth with the wrap! Also the tres leches cake was incredible. Definitely will eat here again

I do not like to write negative reviews and this one pains me but it needs to be said. Food was good but somewhat basic.
Upon walking in, there is a sign that says to seat yourself and use the QR code on the table to order. No one is there to greet you you and besides dropping your food off at the table no one comes to your table at all. You get your own water, boxes, sauce etc. It's basically an overpriced fast food style restaurant. Service is at an absolute minimum yet they still ask for gratuity. To top it off they add on a 10% fee to the check total to increase staff wages yet the restaurant was barely staffed. I did tip when I ordered via the QR code because I thought there would be some sort of service, but dropping food off at a table and nothing else is not the service I expected. Besides the food runner I don't think they had a server on staff. I didn't see one. The food is good but the experience ruined everything. I was a server for many years and am notorious for over tipping. I know how hard the job is and how unappreciated servers are. This is insulting to those of us that worked our butts off providing great service in exchange for gratuity. I do not mind paying an additional fee if the servers are actually being payed more than the minimal server wage but there needs to be service. This experience was definitely shady. In the end I feel the owners may be greedy and have found a way to pass the responsibility to pay a fair wage onto the customer and reap the benefits of a full service restaurant. Just my opinion and I could be wrong.

Super cute space but the food was underwhelming and pricey. I loved the open concept, local art, and funky decor. However, my fish tacos were unfortunately not good. The fish didn’t taste fresh, and each taco came with a huge fried chunk of fish that overwhelmed the garnishes and made it difficult to eat the taco. The guava roll had excellent flavor but was just a bit too dry. The yuca fries were good but didn’t need the seasoning. The dipping sauce for the fries was excellent though. Overall, I wasn’t impressed, but my friend suggested I give it another shot, since she usually has positive experiences here.

Been to the Centro over in NE and always had a nice experience. This place had some kind of menu change while I was in but my friend and I didn't know. We ordered ceviche and when we got our bill the bartender told us that the price was wrong. They were doing a menu change and they put the wrong price on there. He didn't apologize for the confusion or say anything else haha. The price was twice the amount that was listed on their menu too. Simply just rude

Great spot! Very cute space to sit and clearly marked menus with allergy info. They’re really nice about making sure to take care of people with gluten allergies - they fry the fish in a different frier than the yucca fries. Also super efficient with the ordering on your phone. We had barely any wait time!

It is a cozy place, and its style is distinctly American, central bar, quiet, popular music in English. In short, a very cozy atmosphere. The Mexican food of the place is not good at all. I would recommend ordering another type of food from the menu or the different types of drinks offered by the bar. I should also mention that the place has a very practical payment system in which you can order and pay everything from your cell phone.

I’ve never eaten anything at Centro that wasn’t delicious. They also have a great meeting space that I’ve used for work events and a lot of really good family-sized take home options like nachos and enchiladas.

Awesome all around. You find a seat (so many tables, some cozy corner tables and couch/chair options), order on your phone or at the counter. Kids menu is on the QR code menu only, but you can still order both ways. So many great kid options. Best $5 kid hotdog and fries or burger ever. Burger and chicken sandwich are best in the cities contenders. Lots of n/a drink options that aren't overpriced our non-drinking party appreciated. Food came out so fast. Check out the cookies and treats by the counter. The spicy cereal bar was amazing. Staff was welcoming and attentive. Our go-to spot on Nicollet for sure.
