I highly recommend it!! I wanted to visit Capri long time ago and this tour went over my expectations! I met the guide Michele directly at Marina Grande (Capri Port) and we headed off to the center of Capri with the bus. The stories, curiosities, and lunch recommendations were incredibile amazing. Great tour from start to finish. Having a tour guide handling all logistics on top of being informative and fun was priceless for our family!
Blue Grotto was amazing but the whole Island has so much to offer. Chairlift was such a nice experience as well!
The extra boat tour around the island was definetely a great way to finish the day!
I can't imagine doing not even half of the things we did if we were on our own!

We recently did a tour that started in Naples and visited Capri, Ana Capri and the Blue Grotto. The tour was lead by Teresa. We arrived to Naples on a cruise ship and were met by Teresa just one block away. We did not book this tour through the cruise company and we were concerned about making it back to the ship on time. Teresa was very sensitive about our concern and made sure to have us back at Naples with about 30 minutes to spare. Teresa did a great job explaining to our group of 12 the history of the island, the areas of the island, the places to visit and foods to try. Teresa was able to speak with us at length and was patient to answer dozens of questions from the children in our group. I highly recommend the tour with Teresa as the tour guide.

Great day with LUIGI!!
We spent an unforgettable day touring the island of Capri.
We start our tour early in the morning in order to beat the crowds.
We were lucky enough because the blue grotto was open. Luigi was the first at the grotto and we didn’t have to wait. Luigi was like the major of Capri every body seems to know him. He had a great sense of humor, he was so funny and professional. I hope to come back again and for sure my special request it will be LUIGI as a tour guide. Thank you Cioffi Tours.

My mum and I bought a day trip to Capri, Anacapri and the Blue Grotto Caves from Naples in June. Our tour guide was Tiziana and she was fantastic. Super friendly, personable, knowledgeable and fun, she really made the day. The views were amazing. I’d highly recommend. Comfy shoes, a hat and bring water recommended!

A Day Trip doesn’t mean a guided tour. Be prepared by knowing what you plan to do in each 2-3 hour stretch when you’re on your own with thousands of other tourists on a hot day on a crowded small island. We could’ve easily just taken the first ferry of the day ourselves without Cioffi Tours and also booked the Blue Grotto or, an actual guided tour for much less.

We did the “From Sorrento: Capri, Anacapri, & Blue Grotto Full-Day Trip”. We met with our “guide”, Alessandro, took the ferry over to Capri, boarded a bus to the Blue Grotto and, after that, a bus to Anacapri. Our guide gave us somewhat of an oral itinerary with some tips on what to expect and a bit of history of the Grotto and the island…while on the bus. Once the bus rides were over, we were left to explore up until our agreed upon meeting time to board the bus again for the next stop.

There was a lot of free time to explore at each stop - Anacapri and Capri - but it all became repetitive when you see that every shop sells the exact same merchandise, every restaurant serves the same menu and you’ve seen the few historical landmarks and ruins within the first 20 minutes.

The Blue Grotto was the best part of the day. We didn’t wait long, but it did appear that those who arrived by boat got first priority. We ended up taking an earlier ferry back to Sorrento instead of returning with the day trip group. With all the walking and the hot temperatures, it just made sense to leave. If we had to do it over again, we’d skip the middleman, Cioffi Tours, and just book the ferry and the Blue Grotto on our own since there was no tour portion of the experience.

Seven of us took a private all day tour to Capri, the Blue Grotto, Sorrento and Pompeii through Cioffi Tours. Our tour guide, Lucia, was absolutely wonderful!! We didn't have to wait in any lines. She was very knowledgeable and kept all of us on track so we could make the most of our day and get back to our ship on time. We never felt rushed. It was truly a fantastic day. It was my favorite tour of our two week trip, by far! Thank you, Lucia, for showing us the "appetizers" and making me want to come back for more!!
