We participated in a 3 hour tour with Paolo Russo and it was amazing! Paolo is an incredible historian and provided a detailed history of Florence. His easy going and friendly manner made both my daughter and I comfortable. Paolo pointed out many details that were easily remembered when we explored Florence on our own. I was grateful to have taken this tour after just arriving in Florence. It made the remainder of our time there so much easier to navigate and more interesting as we discovered the many historical and artistic gifts that Florence offers. I would highly recommend Paolo!

Paolo is an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. My wife and I planned a fairly "whirlwind tour" as we had limited time in Florence. We hit all the high spots we wanted to - The Duomo, Accademia, Uffizi, plus the main part of the city between our hotel in the Piazza Santo Spirito and the Duomo. The historical context was constantly presented by Paolo so we could understand the history and how the different pieces fit together. It was a great time! I was sick one day and he helped us with finding a Farmacia and making sure I was okay (while pointing out where the best pizza in Florence is located). We will definitely use Paolo again when we return.

We found Paolo from a simple Google search and our experience was awesome. We did a 3 hr walking tour of Florence on Day 1 followed by 5 hours the next day visiting Accademia and Ufizzi. Paolo is a jack of all trades. He knows the history of the city architecture but also is a great storyteller which makes the experience come alive. Whether it was a pizzeria recommendation or a tiny detail of one of Michaelangelo's sculptures, Paolo delivered. Worth every penny to experience the amazing Firenze with a student of the city. The running joke during our tours was that Paolo is a celebrity - he was literally stopped by 15 people (both locals and tourists) who wanted to say ciao. Highly recommend Paolo and his charming expertise.

Wonderful Day in Florence!
