La colazione è molto valida, la macchina dei pancakes è un plus non da poco.
Il personale al front desk è molto gentile e disponibile, il ragazzo ci ha aiutato con un problema con Uber. Non ho usufruito di ogni servizio a disposizione, ma palestra e piscina sembrano ben tenute.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Express,and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by Michael at the front desk. Michael went above and beyond to ensure my check-in was seamless and made me feel like a valued guest right away. His attention to detail, kindness, and knowledge of the hotel and surrounding area were truly remarkable.

The room was immaculate, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to provide a relaxing atmosphere. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the sparkling clean bathroom, was perfect. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and I was thoroughly impressed with how well everything was maintained.

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Norfolk, VA was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a truly enjoyable visit.

It’s close to major attractions, including the Norfolk Botanical Garden and the USS Wisconsin, as well as being a short drive from downtown Norfolk. The location also benefits from easy access to major highways, which made traveling around the area quite straightforward.

Check-In Experience:
Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and professional, providing me with all the necessary information about the hotel’s amenities and local attractions. Their warm demeanor made me feel instantly at home.

Rooms:

I tried to cancel my reservation on Nov 8 2024 due to extreme weather in Colorado. My flight was cancelled at 1:00 am the morning of my reservation. The was no refund given because I had paid in advance. No policy for extenuating circumstances just a flat no. To bad to sad your out of your money. Now I know to never pay in advance and to never use Holiday Inn hotels again. I will also let all my friends and family know to not use them either. It's hard to believe there is no policy for extenuating circumstances. The desk clerk was nice but it was still a no.

The room was too big for me and my guest. It had a funny smell. The pillows smelled bad, had to sleep on my hands. Luis was great. The oatmeal was like cement, there were no waffles or pancake offerings but overall. I will go back if needed per the location.

The staff in this hotel gets a high 5 and management gets it right. From day to the night the staff everyone is so helpful and nice. We got a King suite and the room was big enough for 3 with sofabed. The rooms had a fridge and microwave and the free, hot breakfast was a bonus. Convenient location at a great price. We used the business center.

Our family of 5 pulled into the Holiday Inn Express around 10p, weary from a long day of travel from Montana. We just needed a place to relax and rest before meeting up with family for a few days in a vacation rental on the ocean. The lobby was nice enough, but we were immediately hit with a bad odor upon getting off the elevator on the 3rd floor and our room was no refuge; it stunk, too.

As we got ourselves and our kids ready for bed around 11p, we discovered that the toilet didn’t flush. I fiddled with it to no success, so we called the front desk to see if another room was available. Nope, they said the hotel was full.

“Could someone be sent to fix the toilet?” “No, there wasn’t anyone available who could fix the toilet.”

“So we’re stuck with a room without a functional toilet?” “Yes, I’m sorry about that.”

“That doesn’t work for us, so we’ll need to find a new hotel. Can you issue us a refund?” “I’m sorry, I don’t have the authority to do that.”

We scrambled and were able to find another hotel that worked for our family about 15 minutes away. So, we dragged our troop out in the dark and drove across town. We grabbed the hotel managers card on the way out and emailed her the next day requesting a refund, including a video of the toilet’s operation for good measure. Crickets. I called a few days later, while on vacation, and left a vmail. Crickets again. Nothing.

I shouldn’t even have to request a refund. Darnitra from the front desk should have explained to the manager the situation the next morning. Tyeonna should have then called me, profusely apologized and proactively issued me a refund. Instead I’m having to waste a bunch of time by reaching out time and again and leaving negative reviews to try and state my case.

Awful experience.
