This hotel was respectfully the worst I have experienced. When we had first arrived and opened the door to our room, it was obviously not cleaned; there were multiple towels everywhere and the sheets were all undone. Thankfully, the kind lady at the front desk switched our room and upgraded it. This room was better than the previous, yet, there was an awful cigarette/smoke smell that lingered throughout our two night stay. The bathroom was dark and dingy and we did not want to take a shower there. The walls were mysteriously stained with something that only the light would reveal. The charging sockets were surrounded by a gooey crusty substance. Not to mention the pool is gross. The only positive amenity of this hotel was the mini arcade with rigged claw machines because whenever we actually retrieved a prize despite the scuffed claw, all of the kids would get excited. Additionally, it was close enough to Hershey Park, so that’s a plus. Overall, this hotel was extremely dirty and I personally would not recommend.

I have tried to leave this review on the ihg app abs the hotel continues to refuse to post. As a 10 year diamond elite member I have never seen such a thing. But people need to know that they are just letting people into other rooms who already have guest in them!!! Leaving people walking in on other people. So I copied and pasted one of the two reviews I have tried to leave here below.

The first thing was the elevator seemed really unsafe at best. The second issue was I don't let the cleaning staff in my room of any hotel I stay in. I have had too much stuff stolen out of my room. But with covid, cleaning my rooms isn't really a thing unless I request it anyway. Well I didn't have a "so not disturb" sign. Like I said. I didn't think anything of it with it being short stay and cleaning rooms not being a thing. Well at 9pm I decided to take a shower when I realized that they were in my room and didn't touch anything. Thankfully. But they took all of our towls and never brought any back. Leaving me to dry off with my t-shirt. Next issue. I rented two rooms that weekend. The second room was for my suster in-law and her two daughters. When my daughter went to open the door to that room. They're was already someone in the room for my daughter to walk in on. So they moved my sister in-law to another room. Next issue. As we all left the lobby to go to our rooms. There were two women checking in that happened too be in the same 3rd floor as me. When they open there for to there room there was someone in that room as well. Making them let out a gasp of fright. Finally, when my sister in-law woke the next morning. It had become clear that not only did get room not have towels either. It didn't have a shower curtain. Requiring her and her two daughters to dry off using bed sheets.

Two stars because I really liked Maria at the front desk. We travel A LOT for work, family events, and travel sports. THIS has been our worst hotel experience so far (yes, the kids and I started to rate them). After 4 hours of driving here for a kids' hockey tournament, we walked into a drunken mess of a lobby that was a wedding after party. Poor girl at the desk was new and we saw she was left solo to check in a hockey team with the crazy drinking situation in the background. Pool was broken as well as one elevator (have we seen hockey gear?!?!). We get upstairs and what I'm assuming was a wedding guest is yelling "welcome to the party floor" the "party" went on till 2am. Unfortunately, some of the kids had 7am games. Some of the key cards didn't work. The room we were in was tiny with way too much furniture. One closet door didn't open, the shower knob came off, beer caps on the floor, dirty cups behind the garbage, and we faced a wall.
The toilet seat looks as it had YEARS on it and every time you sit the top of the tank rattles, it must be every room because we could hear others do it as well. From our room we could hear toilets flush and showers run. We attempted hotel breakfast after getting back from a game but was told what was left was what it was. The day before leaving a couple was given a key to a room that wasn't vacant. The location of the hotel was a plus but this place makes last years hotel look like the Ritz. Weather or not the league books here again, WE won't be returning.

I never leave reviews but oh my god. by far the dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in. the shower had fake eye lashes in it. the bed frame had oil outlines of peoples shoulders. there were dead bugs all over our room. and the thermostat was broken. we asked the front desk if someone could get the fake eyelashes out of our room, clean it, and fix the thermostat. they came and "cleaned.." the fake eye lashes were still there and the bed frame was still covered in oil outlines and they only cleaned the sink/toilet and provided more towels. the room was still disgusting. not to mention the breakfast was horrible.. we paid for it when we booked the rooms and after trying it we decided that we would rather go out and pay for breakfast again. also, the pool is closed.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. 180$ a night and they don't even have free continental breakfast. You have to pay 13.99 to eat breakfast and it was disgusting. Everything was hard as a rock.. As soon as we went into our room and open the drawer. There is weave and hair everywhere. The bathroom is dirty, not to mention When we reserved, we asked if they had a pool and they said, yes. Then when we get here, the Pool is broken and upon doing some research, and looking at these reviews, the pool has been broken for months, so why would they tell us that they have a pool? This is horrible and I will never stay at another holiday inn in my life.

No water. At all. It’s 1030pm and was told that they would not have maintenance here until til tomorrow morning. Unacceptable. I have been on a plane all day and just wanted a shower. Better off staying on the streets with public restrooms.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. The manager, Heather, is deceitful and disgusting in her desire to rip off military families. I booked a room here but then called to explain that we were not able to travel due to Hurricane Helene and husbands military duties. First she lied to me about her ability to give a refund, then admitted it and said “if I give you a refund, everyone will want one.” I don’t see how anyone thinks it’s ok to retain money from a service member’s family, without providing any service, especially when it’s because the service member is being called upon to sacrifice for the sake of others. Especially when I called two weeks in advance and they weren’t full, meaning that it wasn’t like I hurt their business with my reservation. Long story short, she lied and got caught in it several times, got flustered and then told me she’d discuss with the owner. Never called back. Never responded to inquiries from corporation, given that I’m an elite member of IHG. I can’t think of a bigger way for a hotel to say “we’re trash and we don’t care who knows it.”

Overall hotel was dirty and dated. My son’s girlfriend went into the restroom off the lobby and found poop on the floor. I had to have new room keys made twice because they would quit working, also overheard others having the same issue. Room smelled musty, A/C never really cooled the room, just made it feel damp. Shower door didn’t close all the way and floor of shower was dirty. One of the elevators bounced and jerked hard every time it stopped, down button did not seem to work on the 5th floor. We were there with other family members to attend a wedding at a venue down the road. This hotel was picked by the wedding party and my family for the convenience of the shuttle service offered back and forth to the venue, along with the fact that it was one that the venue recommended. We were shuttled over but when it came time for pick up at the end of the event, no shuttle in site and initially no one even answered the phone. Later to find out they said they didn’t have a driver! The arrangements and reservations were made months out, how do you not have a driver? Luckily some that had drove made several trips to get everyone back to the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I stay here again. The only shining star was Bryce who tried his best to not only make amends but was polite and personable throughout. I expect more for an IHG branded hotel and for the price.
