This place has a very small lobby no place to sit no tea and coffee machine in lobby no welcoming feeling at all. When we arrived they had trouble finding my name and then when found my name I was disappointed to find that despite my thinking I had chosen the breakfast included option that I did not have breakfast included. It’s fine if that was a mistake in what I thought I purchased but when explaining it I was met with an explanation it would be 60 dollars extra to have breakfast for two people for two days and they didn’t think I should purchase it. It seemed a bit much and we didn’t get the breakfast. I didn’t feel much warmth or friendliness when checking out either just handed the keys and no one asked how was your stay or anything no eye contact either. The elevator is worn down like it belongs in a service elevator it needs to be completely redone tape is over the light and nails sticking out and it’s scruffy the halls are dark and ceiling low and you immediately notice stains on all the carpets. Everything feels old. The good part was the room was clean we had a great view of the ocean and a nice kitchenette. The couch was stained and carpet stained but everything else clean. The cost was comparatively very high for the area and overall decor in the off season at 169 a night and that’s without the breakfast. No nice little quaint touches or anything. I ended up having a nice stay but wouldn’t choose this hotel again. They did have the room ready in time and I did enjoy the view of the ocean a lot. Kitchen area was nice but no sponge or oil or anything. Overall I felt most of the building was old not a very warm feeling and the room was clean and view nice. Restaurant attached is very pricey.

We have been returning to this hotel for our summer vacation for the past few years. Most of the rooms were recently renovated and are spacious enough to fit a family of 6 comfortably. The kitchenette is perfect for cooking meals in the hotel to help save money. The hotel restaurant is also delicious. Pool/hot tub area is beautiful and there is drink/food service out there. We always get a pool/ocean view room and when you go on the balcony it feels like you are at a resort. You are literally steps from the beach and can easily go back and forth between the pool and the beach. Shopping and activities are right across the street and the drive to the rides/boardwalk is not very long. The staff is wonderful as well. Michelle, one of the managers, is so accommodating with trying to make any requests possible and always a pleasure to talk to. She is honestly one of the reasons we keep returning because we know that she clearly does her best to make the guests happy. Just a wonderful place to stay!

The location of this hotel was awesome and the staff was great. We enjoyed the view from our room and the sound of crashing waves at night was relaxing. The hotel staff was very helpful in recommending places for my wife and I to eat and for directing us to parking for access to the boardwalk. We would highly recommend this hotel. The only drawback is for pet lovers (like us). The hotel is not pet friendly.

Everything about the place is clean, rooms are spacious and well appointed. Pool and lounge area is beautiful and well maintained. It would be nice if the outdoor hot tub wasn't being used as a "kiddie pool" and the traditional pool could use a handrail at the entrance. Looking forward to returning soon.

After waiting many years to return to Ocean City we stayed at Holiday Inn Ocean City, an IHG Hotel. My family of 6 was very HAPPY all the services that were provided. When we arrived we were most fortunate to have met Debbie. She right away was concerned about how our trip was from NY and made sure we knew about all the amenities that were offered. Any request that was made by any of my family she made sure it was carried out. Every time one of us went through lobby she said hello to us by name. A skill very important to customer service. I very much thought our stay was to Thursday Aug.15 when we would have to check out. As the family was packing up to return home after our exceptional great vacation. I went to desk to review all charges and was pleasantly surprised Debbie tells me we were checking out a day early. My confirmation said 8/12-8/16 which was to me 4 days Mon - Thurs. To us it was fantastic news we could stay another day. If it wasn't for your expert customer service representative Debbie we would have lost a whole day. Me and my family very much appreciated it. We already are looking forward to returning to your hotel next year. Thank you

Love the new pool renovation. Beautiful good vibes good people. Room needs more upgrade especially the carpet in the room has weird smell, or I need is the freshener spray.
Overall it is good hotel to stay.
We’ll comeback on December.

I'll start by saying I would stay here again. Great location on the beach and walking or short driving distance to great restaurants. Many of the rooms have been renovated and you should ask for one if that matters. Our kids' room was and very well done. Our room was top floor and ocean view, but not. It was a bit run down, but spacious. Housekeeping was disappointing. We had to specifically ask for service each time. Great outdoor pool bar that they shut down at 8pm. Fun daytime scene and quiet nights!

We love this hotel, we have been staying here for many, many years & it never disappoints!! Just seems to get better with each visit!! Spotless property, rooms & balconies. You can tell they really take pride in everything!! Check in was super quick, parking is very convenient, (nice to be able to return your beach gear to your car when you're done using it instead of having to carry everything back up to your room). The staff are always super nice here too, year after year. When making our reservations, we asked what type of coffee makers are in the rooms now, (it had been a few years since our last visit), & mentioned that we drink decaf & we were going to bring our own. They said all rooms have Keurig makers, so we took some with us. But when we got in our room, they had us supplied with decaf coffee pods!!! That really meant a lot to us, (attention to detail), to make sure we were accommodated!!!
Also love the new pool, hot tub & fire pit! So glad there is still an indoor pool too incase there is a rainy day on your trip!! Amazing food and friendly service at the pool bar / grill and Touch of Italy also!!! This hotel is one of the main reasons we go to Ocean City!!! Location is great, a lot of shops & restaurants nearby that are walkable & the beach is always clean too!!!!
