Gio was fantastic! I enjoyed every minute of this tour from start to finish. Everything was taken care of from the moment we were picked up. From cold water, to opening our doors, stops along the way for history and pictures, nonstop laughs and entertainment. I feel like I learned so much about the Almalfi Coast after spending the day with Gio. You can feel his passion for the work he does and the love he has for his country. It was quite a gift that he shared this love with us today. You instantly connect with Gio the moment you meet him with his friendly smile and charm. I felt like a princess all day. My girlfriends and I had the most incredible day touring the stunning Amalfi coast with our guide, and now friend Gio! Gio takes great care and pride in what he does and that is reflected in his every move. He was considerate of things such as weather, traffic, and our specific goals and interest. We booked 2 tours with Lovely Almafi Coast. A private driver up the Almafi coast and a private boat tour around the island of Capri.

Booking is efficient and easy. All information was given up front and no hidden costs. Melania is wonderful to work with during the booking process.

Gio, our private driver was a DREAM!! So kind, knowledgeable and a true gentleman ! He knew so much history, is incredibly proud of his family and country as he should be. He treated m my 4 friends and me like queens and he showed us the most beautiful photo spots. He knew to get to Positano early so it wasn’t crowded. We felt safe and valued in his presence! We had lunch at Le Bonta del Capo, recommended by Gio and we wined and dined while gazing out over the Mediterranean Sea. Truly one of our favorite meals!
What a delight!

The next day we had a private boat tour scheduled around the island of Capri. During our drive with Gio I had mentioned my concern for the weather the next day. He connected me with Marco, who communicated with me that evening and the next morning we awoke to rain and storms. Our tour was scheduled at 8 AM, but Gio and Marco encouraged us to wait for a little while, and the weather may open up. Indeed it did. We got to go out later in the day, but it was literally perfect. The rain earlier in the day had kept the boat traffic down and it was an incredible experience.

Our captain, Stefano was a skilled boatman and another true gentleman! We had lunch on the beautiful island Capri, again with a magnificent view of the Mediterranean sea in the gulf of Napoli. The calamari here was incredible and the house white wine was a delicious pairing.

I would give Lovely Amalfi tours a 10/10 for both of our days. it literally felt like we were living in the scene of a movie set. If you get the amazing opportunity to visit this incredible country… I promise you will not ever regret giving Lovely Amalfi Tours your business!

You absolutely must book with Lovely Amalfi Coast Tours. I never leave reviews, and I’m not just saying that, however I felt compelled to share how wonderful our experience was. We had Gio as our tour guide/friend for the day. Gio felt more like a friend just hanging out and showing us some amazing parts of the coast, while giving us the historical and traditional highlights. He was so outgoing, welcoming and friendly and the spots we stopped at were amazing. He even took us to a less touristy location for lunch (I won’t ruin the surprise or post the name, so people don’t come on to it) and it was the best part of our trip!! Book with them, you will see the beauty of Amalfi from a company that appreciates “tourists” because they get to share their prideful home of the coast of Italy
