Our boat tour with Giovanni was the absolute highlight of our trip to Italy. The tour was easy to book, and Giovanni and Danielle were incredibly responsive to our questions. We were originally booked for a private full day tour to Capri, but the day before our tour our toddler became sick with a fever and cough. When we reached out to Danielle to cancel our tour last minute she was incredibly understanding and even offered to bring us medicine to our hotel. The next day our toddler was feeling much better. Giovanni and Dannielle were super flexible, and we were able to instead go on a sunset cruise. Giovanni picked us up from our hotel in his beautiful convertible and drove us down to dock where his boat was located. This was the smoothest, well actually only smooth, ride we had in Italy 😄. The boat was beautiful, we had champagne, beer, and a fruit platter that my toddler loved. Giovanni was an amazing captain; the ride was incredibly smooth, and he was great to talk to. I cannot recommend Sorrento Experience highly enough. Our only regret was not being able to experience the full day boat tour to Capri.

I cannot recommend Quality Time tours enough! Amazing experience from start to finish. I wanted to propose to my girlfriend whilst on the Amalfi coast, everything was arranged with Daniella prior to arriving, she is the daughter of the family running the tours. We were picked up by Giovanni (the dad) from our hotel, who helped keep the suprise from my girlfriend. The boat was lovely, really luxurious and comfortable. We picked to cruise along the coast at sunset, it was the most beautiful scenery imaginable to propose to your loved one. Giovanni was the perfect host, providing prosecco, snacks and great conversation (and music), whilst also giving us privacy when he sensed we wanted it.
We never felt rushed, Giovanni made the whole evening about us, and I will remember that night forever, it was perfect.
Thanks again guys and we will be back soon !

MAGICAL JOURNEY ON A FIRST CLASS BOAT WITH A PASSIONATE CAPTAIN....
In September of 2019 my Wife and I visited Sorrento for the second time. One of our main goals to accomplish the second time around was spending more time on the sea with a knowledgable Captain on a vessel that represented the local culture, luxury and attitude of this amazing sea side destination. After reviewing some options on line we discovered Quality Time Days Sorrento. Everything we read about this company and Captain Giovanni and daughter Danielle were extremely impressive. They were locals who knew the people, the history, the passion.
We contacted Danielle and communication was impeccable, fast response and answered all of our questions. Booking the reservation was simple. On the morning of our arrival we were met at our villa gate by a sporty and sleek white Mercedes convertible with a tan man in a White fedora hat. This man was Captain Giovanni with a smile on his face we climbed in and knew at that moment our day was going to be magical.
After arriving at the port we boarded the immaculate vessel, so roomy and clean, beautiful teak woods and Italian leather interior it was a pleasure to be aboard this Italian work of Art. The Captain quickly showed us our way to the bow which was completely padded with leather and cushions. We were greeted with an icy cold bottle of Prosecco and a fresh fruit platter as we idled out from port.
Our first destination Capri waited for us in the distance as we strolled along with the Italian sunshine on our foreheads, glasses of Prosecco in our hands we were so relaxed time stood still. We approached Capri inspired by her beauty, took some amazing pics at Faraglione. We then circled the island eventually making our way to Green Grotto for some more incredible pics. Captain Giovanni then took us to a secluded lagoon where we threw anchor and plunged ourselves into the transparent prestige waters of the Med.
Our next stop along the Amalfi Coast was enchanting Positano. Our cruise to the lagoon was fantastic and the scenery was dramatic. Captain Giovanni played some of the beautiful classics of Italian music while the Wife and I were invested chilling on the bow like a King and Queen. We threw anchor again in Positano for another prestigious dip while soaking the ambiance of the mosaic landscape of Positano. We actually had to pinch ourselves to remind us we were not in a dream.
We had worked up a really nice appetite and Captain Giovanni had suggested if we would like to go have lunch by boat. He recommended La Conca Del Sogno, a cliffside honey hole specializing in Culinary Spectaculars like lobster, calamari, steaks, fresh pastas, heavenly drinks and desserts. We then cruised over and threw anchor. The restaurant boat picked us and brought us to shore. There was a long wait for a table, however Captain Giovanni was received like Family and we were taken to a special table for 2 right on the cliff over looking the sea. Our meal was one of the best we ever had in our lives and will never be forgotten.
Lastly we boarded Captain Giovannis boat for a slow cruise back to Sorrento talking about the beauty and elegance of our day and how it felt like a dream. The full day out with Captain Giovanni was life changing, as the we had an opportunity to experience the treasures and spirit of the Italian sea salt lifestyle. Captain Giovanni was exceptionally Professional, knowledgeable and displayed an attitude of appreciation for us and the opportunity to show us the magic of his hometown.
We highly highly recommend booking with Captain Giovanni and Quality Time Days for your next excursion when in Sorrento. Captain Giovanni not only is First Class he has also become a dear friend that we will be traveling back to visit soon!!!

The coast is amazingly beautiful and we had a magic time on the boat thanks to the professionalism and kindness of the captain and his daughter Carla ! We enjoyed all the stops as well in marvelous places, this was an unforgettable day... It was an idea of my husband to celebrate our Wedding 10th anniversary and I can't wait to celebrate the 20th in order to go back and book the exact same cruise !
