Agentul turistic ne-a vorbit pe un ton total nepotrivit adoptând o atitudine arogantă. Nu ne-a oferit foarte multe informații fiind pentru prima dată in zonă. Ne-a intins pliantul si ne-a zis la revedere. Era un domn care, din punctul meu de vedere, nu are ce căuta in turism.

When looking for tourist information, disinformation is worse than no information. And that is what we found here.

- told peles castle was closed on the day after labor day. It was open.
- ski lifts were open for skiing. The ski season had already finished and there were no skiers on the slopes.
- the gondola didn't open until 12pm, but it was running all day and we saw people on the 1145am lift.
- we asked for information on any tours in the local area and he said there were none.
- he said the restaurant was open at the top of the mountain. It was closed.

He might as well have closed the shop and put up a sign saying "take a look online".

This must be in the running for worst tourist information in Romania!

Closed when their own sign said they'd be open. It's not like I needed their help confirming the listed bus to my next destination existed and was running, so then would have to cancel two nights of reservations!

Simply wonderful! I've been in contact with Paul, who has been incredibly helpful offering expertise on different hikes and where to stay.

These guys are truly an asset to Romania and without them I likely would not be coming to visit.

I have never met someone who seems so arrogant and unwilling to support and actually help within the tourist industry.

Just spend the time on Google at least you won't get an attitude.

Our plans were scuppered due to bad weather.
I went in to get some ideas or possibilities, should not have bothered as the guy just left me bad taste in my mouth.

This place is worthless. They have a hiking map of the area but don't sell it. The guy was rude and almost all of the information he gave us turned out to be wrong. Cabana's that he said were closed were open and vice versa. Also he basically told us all the ideas we had were stupid without offering any alternatives. I'd recommend quickly stepping in to take a picture of the map and then going up to cabana Padina, the people there are super nice and helped us much more than the guy at the tourist information did.
