We used Iron Man Travel to travel from Hotel Sorrento City to Napoli (Naples) Central train station on Sunday, Sep 3rd, 2023. From Napoli, we were going to catch a train to Roma Termini. Actually, it was a last minute decision by us to take the car instead of taking metro from Sorrento to Naples. The hotel arranged the car. To tell the truth, it was a bad decision to take the taxi, instead of metro, without having the slightest idea about the local traffic. Our only consideration was, it would be easier to travel in a taxi with the luggage. The traffic was horrific. It took about 3 hours to cover 48 kms. The driver (sorry, I didn't ask for his name) tried his best to make us feel comfortable. Since he didn't speak much English, he phoned Chiara at Iron Man's office on his phone to make sure we understood the traffic situation. Chiara also researched the train times for us and suggested which train to take from Napoli to Roma Termini. Overall, considering the situation we were in, Iron Man staff did their best to make us comfortable. Next time, we are in Sorrento we would use their guided tours as well.

We had a very enjoyable tour with our driver Casper. He was very professional in his manner and a very safe driver along the windy roads of the Amalfi coast. Very knowledgeable of the local areas and very passionate about his job. Casper was very kind but above all his sense if humour made this trip one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The bus was full of laughs and conversation as we toured along from town to town.

Very comfortable journey in an air-conditioned mini bus and included an extremely tasty 3 course lunch.

Over all we would highly recommend this tour and we were very happy with Casper as our driver.

We recently stayed on the Amalfi Coast and used Sorrento Iron Man services twice.

Raffaele was our driver for a day trip to Pompeii, and Giuseppe was our driver from our Air Bnb on the coast (in Termini) all the way to Rome.

On both occasions we were so grateful and pleased to have booked our transit with them. They were professional, warm, informative, respectful and helpful, plus the vans are new, clean and so comfortable. Worth every penny! Highly recommended!

On our way to the coast we had landed in Rome and took the fast train to Naples. From there, we took the commuter train from Naples to Sorrento. We had been warned multiple times that we should be careful of pickpocketing, and were on guard and extra careful.

We were lucky.

Unfortunately we witnessed a robbery that left the 3 of us very shaken and upset. Reflecting about it after, we were aware that it was very calculated and a group effort. We were lucky we were holding tightly to our valuables, and were traveling with large suitcases (not easy to run off with). After witnessing that we decided it was more worth it to spend some extra money in order to feel safe and relaxed, which Sorrento Iron Man made sure of. It was so nice to enjoy the scenery instead of being on guard, and to talk with local Italians about their lifestyle, some history of the country, etc.

Another time we would absolutely use Sorrento Iron Man again!

Hace poco estuvimos en Sorrento. Nicola de Sorrentoirontravel nos llevo a recorrer la costa amalfitana. Fue puntual y muy competente y cuidadoso en el manejo en un camino bellísimo pero complicado para el conductor. En cada lugar nos hizo sugerencias sobre qué visitar y fue muy amable respondiendo nuestras preguntas. Fue un paseo hermoso y muy tranquilo.
Para ir desde Sorrento a Nápoles (donde teníamos que tomar un tren) nos llevó Mónica. Super puntual (cosa que era fundamental para nosotros) muy. Buena Conduciendo y con una conversacion muy interesante y agradable que hizo más ameno el viaje.
