The gold standard for Houston Metro transit centers - they move a LOT of all kinds of people through here, so keep an eye on your stuff, but there is always someone posted somewhere watching (the information booths used to be staffed, I hear, though I’ve never seen it), and it is well-lit, with transparent-plexiglass-backed bus stops so that everything is visible (i.e. no one could attack you or steal anything from you and have a hope of not being seen/filmed doing it), but also fairly enclosed.
There is only so safe and reliable public transit can be in this city, given the lack of resources the taxpayers and legislators commit to it, and there are several dodgy transit centers, but this isn’t one of them.
This is a safe, well-trafficked, well-illuminated hub with some fantastic views of the Medical Center.
Virtually nothing negative to say about TMC Transit Center.

I went to use the Portable Potty however there was no toilet paper in either portable also there was a mild stench in both portables. It has not been cleaned yet. On the outside of the Texas Medical Center Transit was a portable hand washing sink which I thought was very convenient. Ohh inside the Portable Potty was a hand sanitizer Despenser with no sanitizer in it. Hopefully someone will come check them out, clean them & restock them.

A useful commuting hub for healthcare workers that live in the outer lying counties to efficiently get to and from work. Woodlands, Katy, and fort bend are a few shuttle buses that are express dedicated routes

Easy to read signage to estimate next bus arrival. Security and sanitation department present. Customers must hold their pee while waiting up to 10 minute bus transfer.

The Texas Medical Center is a complex that is beautiful and state of the art. I have never been to a city before that has actually built entire complex, (basically a mini town) of medical buildings of all kinds. You have anything and everything medical related built in this area. On top of the state-of-the-art facilities the amount of money that goes into their research is outstanding. Texas Medical Center has had so many medical break throughs over the course of several decades. If something happens to you and you really need emergency medical care you couldn't be at a better place.
Also, they have stores, hotels, ride share services, bus and tram stations. Anything that you would need you can get within the medical complex. It is crowded most of the time but that is to be expected. I really have no other concerns or complaints about my experience on this specific day.

There is access to many different buses which is good but in every other aspect it's the same as any other transit center. Some parts smell like urine and others don't. I've also noticed that buses coming here tend to be more on time than others

There is no restrooms for customer service but the driver's has one for them to use that is a straight up messed up way to run a transit system because a little town like Beaumont Texas can have restrooms for both why can't a big city like Houston
