I recently posted a very bad review about the rude barber at the VA Barber Shop and want to update what steps the VA has taken to resolve the issue. I deleted the post because it's no longer accurate. Mr. Williams, who is the Director of Canteen Services, informed me that the barber who I had an issue was no longer there and been fired. He had had many other complaints and was finally let go. My gratitude to Mr. Williams for listening and acting!

UPDATE: A new barber seems to have an attitude also. I was going to get a haircut a couple of weeks ago, hoping for a different vibe with this new barber, but after his initial glare (same as previous barber) and his reluctance to greet me I decided to walk away! I'll give him one more opportunity to treat a veteran with respect before I report him!

Update: 7/7/2022

Don't waste your time or money! For the HOOD BARBERSHOP experience this is your place! $25 haircut and only takes cash? No sign but $3.00 ATM right outside! Terrible cut! Never going back! I feel ripped off! Again!

Great idea for a stop location! This stop is usually clean. There's always lots of vets here and they can get loud while talking but they are always respectful... you could join in on the conversation and nobody would bat an eye.
